Naf River at Teknaf in Bangladesh

Naf River is one of the beautiful Place in Bangladesh. Located to Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar District. This River is most beautiful hill Site River in Bangladesh. The River Naf is shared between Bangladesh & Mayanmar border. The River is 64 km length, 1550m Width and 11.65m Depth. The Eastern Coast belongs to Myanmar and Western Coast is belonging to Bangladesh. Naf River is originated from the Arakan Hills of Myanmar and after flowing as a trans-boundary river, and finally falls into the Bay of Bengal. This rivers water level highly depends on the sea. Because it’s very near to sea so the color of water almost same as sea water and also salty too. It’s surrounded by the beautiful hills in both Bangladesh and Mayanmar side, which makes its more beautiful. In winter season fog and birds makes it more beautiful. It’s the main way between Teknaf and Saint Martin Island. Tourists of Saint Martin’s island are being carried by the ship over the river. During crossing the river, you can see the real beauty of Naf River, you can also see many boats in both Bangladesh and Mayanmar side who catch fish almost every day. When you see the blue sky and blue water with thousands Seagulls flying around you just feel like the heaven in the earth.
